What happens next?

We shall arrange a time and day to meet and then meet regularly (once a week is most beneficial to the therapeutic work) at the same time and day. Occasionally, more flexible planning may be required.

How much will it cost?

Each session will cost £50 for individuals and £90 for couples. Full payment will normally be made at the end of the session. Payments can be made in cash or by cheque.

How long will the counselling session last?

The initial session lasts 1 hour. Subsequent sessions last 50 minutes for individuals and 90 minutes for couples.

How long will the entire counselling process last?

The answer to that varies for individuals; it depends on what you want to achieve during the therapy. We will review our work together at regular intervals. For couples, there are eight sessions which will take place fortnightly.

What is Transactional Analysis?

Transactional Analysis looks at the ways we interact with each other and how we see ourselves and others in the world. When we consider the associated thoughts, feelings and behaviour related to our interactions, we may well gain a better understanding of current problems or hurdles which prevent us moving forward.

Where exactly is your counselling room?

When we agree on a date and time to meet, I shall provide further details so that you arrive on time. Please note that there is no waiting room so it is advisable to arrive minutes before your appointment. Parking space is very limited, although there are car parks nearby.
